Where to buy a Christmas tree?

The Department of Forestry reports: from Tuesday, November 29 to Friday, December 16, in forestries across the country will sell Christmas trees.

And decorate the holiday, and help the forest.

You can buy Christmas trees only on weekdays from 08:00 to 14:30. The department clarifies that the trees for sale are those that are cut as a result of thinning the forest – thus creating favorable conditions for the growth of other trees. After the purchase at the lesnichestvo, a stamp will be put on the purchased copy. It must be presented in case of inspection.

A fine of up to 5,000 euros for illegal logging

The stamp is proof that the tree was purchased legally and legally. Felling, storage and transportation of trees without a permit from the Forestry Department violates the provisions of the law of 2012 and is punishable by a fine of up to 5000 euros and/or imprisonment of up to one year. Residents who intend to cut down a Christmas tree on their private property must also obtain the necessary cutting and transport permits in advance and present them when requested by officials.

The purchase of a Calabrian pine up to 1.5 meters in height costs 6 euros. Black pine and stone pine, up to 2 meters in height, will cost 14 euros. Cedar up to 2 meters in height will cost 50 euros. Spruce up to 2 meters in height – 60 euros.
